PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-yield and low-cost ink jet recording head by preventing a diaphragm and an electrode from adhering to each other at a high-temperature heat treatment process, etc., after forming the diaphragm to an ink liquid chamber substrate by jointing the ink liquid chamber substrate without the diaphragm formed yet to an electrode substrate in a simple structure and a simple manufacturing process, provide a method for manufacturing the ink jet recording head and an ink jet recording apparatus with the ink jet recording head. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording head comprises nozzle holes 1 for discharging ink liquid drops, ink liquid chambers 2 in which the ink discharged from the nozzle holes 1 is filled, diaphragms 3 which form part of wall faces of the ink liquid chambers 2, electrodes 4 opposite to the diaphragms 3 for impressing a voltage, gaps 5 for separating the electrodes 4 and the diaphragms 3 by a predetermined interval, and gap internal pressure-adjusting means 6 for adjusting a pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the gaps 5.
