PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition capable of forming cured film excellent in abrasion resistance, adhesiveness, heat resistance, etc. SOLUTION: This coating composition comprises (A) an alkoxy group- containing silane-modified epoxy resin obtained by carrying out dealcoholization reaction of (1) a bisphenol type epoxy resin with (2) an alkoxysilane partial condensation product, (B) a bisphenol type epoxy resin and (C) a curing agent for epoxy resins.
