<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active carbon adsorption tower which is compact, maintains a good gas flow, and effectively removes dioxins. SOLUTION: This adsorption tower is constructed so that in a tightly closed box 1, exhaust gas treatment chambers 2,2, each being formed by a pair of air-permeable walls 3a, 3b for holding therebetween an active carbon b group in layers, are arranged so as to face each other at a certain distance; and an exhaust gas is caused to flow into the inside space k1 between the facing treatment chambers and is discharged toward the outside spaces k2, k2 of the treatment chambers.</p> |
