<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for recovering foamed polystyrene, constituted so as to be able to efficiently separate a polystyrene solution obtained by dissolving foamed polystyrene into a solvent in order to reduce volume of the foamed polystyrene into polystyrene resin and the solvent by a small-shaped device having simple mechanism. SOLUTION: This apparatus for recovering foamed styrene is constituted of a heat exchanger 1 for heating styrene solution obtained by dissolving foamed polystyrene with a solvent up to a temperature capable of readily evaporating the solvent, an evaporating tank 2 equipped with a nozzle 3 and constituted so as to make polystyrene solution heated in the heat exchanger 1 flow down through closed space in thin film state and a capacitor 4 for leading the solution component evaporated in the evaporating tank 2 and liquefying the solution component.</p> |
