PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous coating material excellent in weather resistance and stability. SOLUTION: A coating material composition containing an aqueous emulsion (A), a crosslinking agent (B) and a bisbenzotriazolephenol compound (C) expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, A is an alkylene, O, NH, S, SO or SO2; n is 0 or 1; R1 and R2 are the same as or different from each other, and they are each hydroxy, a 1-12C normal or branched hydroxyalkyl, a radical- polymerizing unsaturated group or a (meth)acrylic group; R3 and R4 are the same as or different from each other, and they are each H, a 1-4C alkyl, a 1-4C alkoxyl, an aryl or a halogen atom].
