PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a finely particulate polymer gel, by which the highly fine gel particles can easily and surely be produced. SOLUTION: This method for producing the finely particulate polymer gel, comprising using a superfine needle type nozzle 1 and a reaction vessel 2 as electrodes, preliminarily receiving a gelling agent solution B in a reaction vessel 2, forming a magnetic field between both the electrodes, and supplying a polymer solution A into the nozzle 1 to flow out the polymer solution from the exit 1a of the nozzle 1 into the electric field, characterized by atomizing the polymer solution A to spray the polymer solution on the surface of the solution B and cause the gelation reaction of the polymer solution in fog drop units.
