PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and lightweight automatic gas adding device for a diving unit capable of automatically adding gas even if both hands cannot be used, stably operable by sensing volume reduction even in any posture particularly in the water and capable of preventing buoyancy reduction generated by the volume reduction in a bag. SOLUTION: A gas housing bag-shaped body B is provided with a tilt valve mechanism connected to a gas supply system and communicating the gas supply system with the inside of the bag-shaped body by opening a valve by contact with a constitutive part of the bag-shaped body when the content unit volume in the bag-shaped body reduces by putting the gas supply system and the inside of the bag-shaped body in a cutoff state when the content unit volume in the bag-shaped body is large.
