PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footrest mounting structure preventing the rotation of a clip relative to a boss of a footrest to prevent the damage of a locking claw of the clip and facilitating the removal of the footrest. SOLUTION: In this footrest mounting structure, a plurality of slits 9 extending along the axial direction of the boss 5 provided at the footrest 1 are formed at the boss 5 to constitute each space between the mutually adjacent slits 9 as an elastic piece 10, and a clip 7 is sub-assembled to the boss 5 making use of the elasticity of a plurality of elastic pieces 10. The sub-assembled clip 7 is assembled to a stud bolt 8 disposed on the vehicle body side, to mount the footrest 1 to a vehicle body. The clip 7 is provided with ribs 24 corresponding to the slits 9 of the boss 5, and the ribs 24 of the clip 7 are engaged into the slits 9 of the boss 5 as the clip 7 is sub-assembled to the boss 5.
