PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat plate-like mold for molding which is suitable for producing a resin molded article with a finely shaped unevenness on the surface and is easily remolded and can be inexpensively produced and exhibits excellent mold reproducibility and a method for producing it. SOLUTION: The flat plate-like mold for molding and a method for product it characterized by a constitution wherein an anchor coating is applied on a metal plate base material and a thermosetting epoxy resin layer is provided on the coated face and providing an unevenness with a specified shape on the surface of the thermosetting epoxy resin layer is provided.
