PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain in glude processed material or a veneer wherein an annual ring having an arbitrary curved line shape is matched from a flitch while the glued processed material or the veneer wherein a rectilinear annual ring is matched is obtained from the flitch. SOLUTION: The Flitch is cut into a plurality of blocks 1a and 1b along the annual ring, the block 1b is reversed from a front to a rear, and compressed by pinching from both left and right sides by rectilinear fixtures J and H. When an arbitrary curved line shape is wanted to be provided, each inner face of the fixtures J and J is made the same arbitrary curved line shape. Therefore, a glued processed material or a veneer wherein the annual ring matches a rectilinear shape or an arbitrary curved shape, and the annual ring is not broken on both left and right side, is obtained. A straight grain veneer which is likely to be taken from only a small diameter wood and a large diameter wood, is obtained. A flaw or a node of the veneer having the flaw or the node can be also removed.
