PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the infiltration and clogging of food materials and to simplify washing. SOLUTION: This agitating device has a cooker 1 which is provided with an upper wall part 37 on the upper side of a bottom 35 of a spherical shape, an agitating shaft, 33 which is inserted and arranged with a working part within the cooker 1, a supporting rod 45 which is mounted at the agitating shaft 33 and is provided with plural scraping vanes 47 for sliding on the inside surface of the bottom 3 while scraping the surface by rotation of the agitating shaft 33 and an agitating motor 49 which is arranged outside the cooker 1 and rotationally drives the agitating shaft 33. The agitating shaft 33 is arranged diagonally with the cooker 1 and the front end on one side of the agitating shaft 33 is freely rotatably supported by a first bearing means 51 which is spherically supported at the inside surface of the bottom 35. The other side of the agitating shaft 33 is freely rotatably supported at the upper wall part 37 by a second bearing means 53 and is interlocked and connected to the agitating motor 49 through the upper wall part 37.
