PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a high quality image by reducing generation of black stripes as density irregularity at a joint part between recording areas formed in each scanning of a recording head in an ink-jet recording device. SOLUTION: An ink amount 13-9 to be possibly provided to the joint parts of recording data 13-1, 13-2, 13-3, 13-4 of three rasters at joint parts adjacent to the recording area in the scanning operation of immediately before, is calculated based on the gradient value for each pixel thereof for each image data to be supplied to a recording head of each color ink. According to the ink amount, a thinning operation is executed with reference to a thinning table for finding the final recording data at the joint parts 13-10, 13-11, 13-12, 13-13. Thereby, the ejected ink amount at the joint parts in the vicinity of the boundaries can be reduced so that black stripes can be reduced. |
