PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a dialkyl carbonate from CO, O2 and an alcohol. SOLUTION: This method for producing the dialkyl carbonate is characterized in that when producing the dialkyl carbonate by using the carbon monoxide, the oxygen and the alcohol as starting raw materials, a catalyst comprising (i) a copper compound free from a halogen atom and (ii) a halogeno-acid is used. |
