PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet having a small retransfer of a dye and not having occurrence of a blocking and heat wrinkle. SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer sheet comprising a thermal transfer dye layer 3 on one surface of a base material sheet 1 and a heat resistant slippery layer 2 on the other surface of the material sheet 1, the layer 2 is formed of a mixture of a heat resistant resin, a lubricant having a melting point of 33 deg.C and an IO value of 0.23 or more and a polyisocyanate compound having at least two or more isocyanate groups in a molecule. In this case, formula (1) of 1.0<=Y/X<=4.0 is satisfied (wherein X pts.wt. is a using amount of the lubricant to 100 pts.wt. of the heat resistant resin, and Y pts.wt. is a using amount of the polyisocyanate compound). |
