PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining center to facilitate a work to effect centering of a tool conveying arm and facilitate a work to maintain a tool conveying device. SOLUTION: A spindle head 5 at which a main spindle 6 is rotatably supported is situated in a manner to be movable in a first direction crossing orthogonally to the axial direction of the main spindle based on fixed parts 1 and 7. A tool storage device 8 having a tool magazine is situated at the fixed part 7 separated from the main spindle head 5 in a second direction crossing orthogonally to both the axial direction of the main spindle and the first direction. The tool conveying device 9 having a tool conveying arm 10 to effect conveyance of a tool between the tool magazine and the main spindle 6 is situated on the main spindle head 5 side of a tool storage device 8. The tool storage device 8 is revolvably attached around an axis paralleling the main spindle axis based on the fixed part 7 such that the tool conveying device 9 is movable in a direction in which it approaches and separates from the main spindle head 5 and positioned in a desired position.
