PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a vibration caused by unevenness of a grid image and grid driving, generated when a scattering ray removing grid is driven in imaging radiography. SOLUTION: A grid driving device 3 is composed of guide rails 11, 12 guiding a grid 2 in the direction of arrow mark, a cam plate 13 with a cam hole 13a, an axis joint 14 fitted to the cam hole 13a by inserting its end part 14a into it, a motor driving the axis joint 14, and a control means 16 controlling rotation of the motor 15. The operation of the motor 15 is controlled by the control means 16 so that the driving velocity V of the grid within the time of radiation image radiography gets into a state of (1/n-t)×2.0/a<V<(1/n-t)×5.0/ a (where; n: grid density, t: strip thickness, a: minimum time for radiography of a radiographic device).
