ORGANIC ACIDS PRODUCING MICROORGANISM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORGANIC ACIDS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A microorganism capable of producing organic acids and a method for producing organic acids using it are provided, therefore, the organic acids can be easily and stably produced because the microorganism is facultative anaerobic and can produce organic acids in the presence of oxygen. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Mannheimia sp. 55E (KCTC 0769BP) is capable of producing organic acids. The organic acid is produced by cultivating Mannheimia sp. 55E (KCTC 0769BP) in a medium containing 5 to 60 g/l of glucose under the anaerobic condition consisting of carbon dioxide and nitrogen, in which the organic acids are succinic acid, formic acid, acetic acid and lactic acid; the cultivation is carried out under 35 to 45 deg.C, pH 6.0 to 7.5 and 0.1 to 0.4 vvm of nitrogen or carbon dioxide-providing rate. The organic acid including lactic acid or acetic acid is prepared by cultivating Mannheimia sp. 55E (KCTC 0769BP) under the aerobic condition.
