The invention relates to a fixing system (4) for a curtain wall (1) consisting of transparent façade panes (6). Said system comprises a substructure which is applied to a building facade (3) and which consists of several parallel pillars (2) protruding out of the building façade. The façade panes (6, 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d) are connected to the substructure (3) at various points and carrier elements (7) are fixed to the pillars, said carrier elements comprising at least one support bracket, preferably two support brackets (7a, 7b) lying opposite each other. The carrier elements (7) protrude above the pillars, perpendicularly to the building façade, and the support brackets (7a, 7b) are oriented in such a way that they are at the same time parallel to the building façade and horizontal. Each façade pane (6, 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d) is carried by the corners thereof which face the ground, by means of the support brackets (7a, 7b) pertaining to the carrier elements (7). |
