A system method for the creation of an enhanced brightness and colour LCD display. The display comprises a unitary structure with an LCD panel, Optical waveguide, hologram and light source. During manufacture these elements are bonded together into the unitary structure. The hologram placement varies for the front surface of the optical waveguide, to the back surface of the optical waveguide, on the front and back surface of the optical waveguide at the same time, and disposed within the optical wave guide. |
