<p>A pressure responsive discharge head wherein the expellable plug is disposed in the outlet of a body member having an inlet adapted for connection to a source of fluid under pressure, with the plug being connected relative to the body member by means of a detent mechanism. Upon a predetermined temperature being attained in the vicinity of the head, as well as a predetermined pressure existing in the body member, the connection provided by the detent mechanism is broken and the plug is released from the outlet to permit the fluid to be discharged from the nozzle.</p> |
