The invention concerns the field of furniture. More particularly, the invention concerns household furniture, and in particular drawing-room tables. The invention aims at different aesthetic variations while improving the practical aspect of so-called nested tables. These aims are achieved by a set of nested tables formed with at least two tables, one called upper (21) and the other called lower (22) adapted to be placed one above the other. The invention is characterised in that the upper table (21) comprises at least two self-supporting elements (211, 212) designed to be brought together or spaced apart so as to cover or reveal at least partly the lower table (22). |
