PURPOSE: A novel microorganism strain, Pseudomonas fluorescens Soil-4 and the use thereof are provided, thereby improving the quality of Chinese cabbage in its size, diameter, leaf number, saccharinity, dry weight, etc. CONSTITUTION: The novel microorganism strain, Pseudomonas fluorescens Soil-4(KFCC-11162), is isolated by collecting soil sample; diluting the soil with distilled water; spreading the dilution on the King's B medium; incubating the medium at 28 deg.C for overnight; selecting colonies grown showing green fluorescence; and identifying the fluorescence-showing colony. The seed of Chinese cabbage may be dipping in the cultured medium of Pseudomonas fluorescens Soil-4(KFCC-11162) in order to improve the quality of Chinese cabbage.
