PURPOSE: Provided is a mortar containing jade and yellow earth, being applied to walls and bottoms, which has properties of wetproof and protection against insects, and emits a lot of far infrared rays improving our health. CONSTITUTION: The mortar is prepared by mixing 50-75wt.% of jade powder or jade sand, 10-30wt.% of yellow earth and 15-25wt.% of white cement with an aqueous solution containing water and binder mixed in a weight ratio of 1:1. The resultant mortar has good compression strength and cracking-resistance.
