PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material having larger discharge capacity than that of a lithium cobalt compound oxide (LiCoO2) when reducing a discharge finishing voltage to 2.0 V. SOLUTION: In a power source of a portable electronic equipment which can be driven within a voltage range of 2.0 V to 4.3 V, a non-aqueous secondary battery using a lithium compound oxide expressed by a general formula of LiNi1-xCoxO2 (0<=X<1), as the positive electrode active material. |
