DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of enhancing the light emission efficiency of all discharge cells which turn on and to provide it's driving method. SOLUTION: In this display device, a first discharge is performed by raising a sustaining pulse Psu to the maximum value Vpu by the LC resonance of a recovery coil L and a panel capacitance Cp while turning a transistor Q3 ON. A second discharge is performed in succession to the first discharge by raising the pulse Psu to a Vsus while turning a transistor Q1 ON when the sustaining pulse Psu is lowered to the minimum value Vpb by the first discharge.
