PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste toner carrying device which detects abnormality of a waste toner pipe and the filled state of a waste toner recovery vessel with a high reliability and a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A carrying screw (rotating carrying member) 2 for toner carrying is provided in a waste toner pipe 1, and this carrying screw 2 is rotated by driving means (a driving gear 5, a driving input gear 6, etc.), to carry waste toner remaining on a photoreceptor drum (image carrier) to a waste toner recovery vessel 9. In this waste toner carrying device, a one-way bearing (rotation direction control member) 3 to control the rotation direction of the carrying screw 2 to a single direction is provided. |
