PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position control method which can effectively compensate the distortion between a motor and a machine. SOLUTION: The position control method is equipped with the capability of detecting the position of the moving part of the machine 11 and the position detector which detects the position of the motor for driving the moving part of the machine. The distortion of the machine is detected by the difference between the position of the motorθand the position of the machineθ2, is multiplied with a constant K by a minor loop for the compensation, and is adjusted by compensating the torqueτequivalent to the distortion.
