PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send a fax, taking advantage of the electronic mail function or browser of a personal computer (including a communication equipment such as a portable telephone or the like). SOLUTION: An originator sends the phone number of the receiver and a fax content by an E mail in the format designated by a FAX agent or selects the contents of the home page of the FAX agent and inputs the FAX phone number of the receiver and a fax content into the FAX agent communication, and the FAX agent sends the fax content received through the above methods in place of the originator.
