MINUS SIZING PROCESSING METHOD AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORED WITH PROGRAM RUN BY COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a minus sizing processing method which has a small computation quantity and is fast and accurate. SOLUTION: A temporary offset figure B is obtained by moving the respective sides of an original figure A by a temporary offset quantity. Then offset transition lines connecting the vertexes of the original figure and the corresponding vertexes of the offset figure are generated and whether or not adjacent offset transition segments have an intersection is detected. When intersections p23 and p56 are present as shown in a (reversing detection step) figure, an intersection having a shorter perpendicular to the original figure is specified as a 1st intersection according to the lengths C1 and C2 of the perpendiculars and a figure consisting of new intersections of a reversed side p5'p6' corresponding to the 1st intersection (p56 in this example) and connection sides p5'p4' and p6'p1' at the ends of the reversed side is deleted from the figure. The intersection p23 which is second in the sorting order is similarly processed and a final offset figure which matches minus sizing is obtained from a figure obtained by connecting obtained new intersections.
