PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supplying roller consisting of a foamed elastic body with which at image without defects, such as pitch nonuniformity and density nonuniformity, can be obtained, and to provide a developing device mounted with the toner supplying roller. SOLUTION: In the toner supplying roller which has a toner cartridge housing a toner as a developer, the toner supplying roller and a developing roller, and which consists of the foamed elastic body mounted on the developing device to supply the toner to an electrostatic latent image on the surface of a photoreceptor to form a toner image, the diameter of average foamed cell is 20-200μm, the number of cells per mm2 is 25-260, and the compression spring constant is 0.25-5.0 Ns/mm. |
