PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic slip processing device visually displaying a slip format screen in the same layout as that of the original slip and having good workability. SOLUTION: This figure shows a display screen, the left screen of the figure is the image data read from the slip, and the right screen displays the EXCEL electronic data of a slip format screen converted from the left image data on an EXCEL screen. For this conversion, the left upper point 301a of the image screen is used as a reference point, and the left, upper point of the cell N1 (row N column 1) of the slip format screen is allocated as a reference point 301b. Cell sizes of cell rows N, O, P through X are allocated in sequence so that the rules 302a through 312a detected in sequence from the left of the image screen are made the corresponding rules 301b, 303b through 312b on the EXCEL slip format screen in the row direction. The same process is also conducted in the column direction. The image information of characters and numerals in individual frames is recognition-processed and stored in the frames as code information.
