PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an efficient selection of an image by enabling an automatic omission of an inadequate photograph of a plurality of recording images photographed by a camera using an image pickup element. SOLUTION: A print image selector comprises reading means 31 and 32 supplied with the plurality of images photographed by the camera using the image pickup element together with data relating to the images to read the images, image evaluating means 33, 34, 35 and 36 for evaluating whether the images read by the reading means satisfy a predetermined reference or not, and a selection deciding means 37 for selecting one or more images from the plurality of images based on an evaluation of the evaluating means and outputting the images as selected images to be printed.
