PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame structure of a functional apparatus for enhancing the strength of the frame structure without a reinforcement plate and the like. SOLUTION: A frame 1 is assembled by almost a C-shaped stage plate 2 with an opened space between upright parts 2b and 2b extended vertically from both ends of a rectangular flat plate 2a, and side plates 3 and 4 fixed to the stage plate 2 for joining the upright parts 2b and 2b. The side plate 3 or 4 to be joined with the upright parts 2b of the stage plate 2 includes a horizontal member 3a formed by bending, and bending parts 3e and 3f from the vertical member 3b constitute an overlapped part 5. The overlapped part 5 may be fixed by welding and the like at a welding part 9 before assembling.
