PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make supportable the preparation of plural kinds of documents according to different routine formats. SOLUTION: A format image file (23a and 23b) is an information showing a prescribed format of document to be prepared. In response to the sending request of a format A, for example, corresponding to the discriminated result of whether a client 12 already has the image file 23a of the format A or not, a server 11 sends the image file 23a of the format A, a master file (35a and 35b) for storing information to be published on the document and an input program 24a of the format A showing a relation with the image file 23a of the format A to the client 12. According to the format shown by the image file 23a of the format A, in the client 12, the stored information of the master file (35a and 35b) showing the relation with that file in the input program 24a of the format A is published and the document is prepared.
