PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting equipment of a small effective area which comprises a movable infrared ray filter. SOLUTION: An infrared ray lighting equipment for an automobile comprises a light source (105), a reflector 100 comprising two focal-point regions 110 and 120, and a lens 200. The light source is positioned in one of two focal-point regions, with a reflected beam condensed in the other focal-point region. The lens converts the condensed beam into a beam for lighting a load. The lighting device is provided with a filter 300 which is transmissive for infrared ray while non-transmissive for visual light between the reflector 100 and the lens 200. The filter 300 moves between a position away from the beam, advancing from the reflector 100 toward the lens 200, and a position where most of the beam, advancing from the reflector 100 toward the lens 200, passes. |
