<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm whether the pen-inputted handwritten character is recognized in a handwritten character input frame display area or not while pen- inputting the handwritten character in the handwritten character input frame. SOLUTION: This handwritten character input device comprises a transparent tablet formed with a handwritten character input frame for pen-inputting the handwritten character made of plotted lines, a character recognizing section recognizing the handwritten character pen-inputted to a handwritten character input frame and converting the recognized handwritten character into a printing type, a display section displaying the pen-inputted handwritten character in a handwritten character input frame area and displaying the converted printing type in a recognition result display area, a judging section judging whether the pen-inputted handwritten character is recognized or not, and a display controller controlling the display section to display the recognized handwritten character in a recognizable display mode among the handwritten characters displayed in the handwritten character input frame display area when the judgment result that the pen-inputted handwritten character is recognized is received from the judging section.</p> |
