PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplier circuit that is applied to data transfer and used according to a current mode logic(CML). SOLUTION: The electronic device of this invention is provided with a periodic signal generator and a frequency divider circuit that multiplies frequencies of the periodic signals. The multiplier circuit consists of an exclusive OR gate that receives the periodic signal and of a frequency divider circuit connected between the input and the output of the gate. The frequency divider circuit can generate signals whose phases differ by 90 deg. and the signals whose phases differ by 90 deg. permit modulation of a type known as a name of 'zero demodulation'.
