PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a storage type broadcasting service even by a receiver having a low storage processing speed. SOLUTION: A video voice and storage data are received, and stored as a stream in a stream storage area 231 of a storage medium 230. Thereafter, storage data is extracted from the stored stream and decoded, data contents in the decoded storage data are stored in a file storage area 232 of the medium 230 as a file, meta data in the decoded storage data is interpreted, and storage contents of the medium is controlled. When a reproduction of the video voice is requested, only the video voice is extracted from the stream by a PID filter 222, and reproduced.
