SOLUTION: This commodity order placing apparatus 1 comprises a reception unit 2 for receiving an order placement signal including the remainder information indicating the remainder of the commodities, a fluctuation estimating period calculation unit 4 for calculating the period before the remainder of the commodities are consumed, an order placement information preparation unit 7 for determining a sales agent at which the commodity can be purchased at a lowest price based on the calculated period and the commodity sales price and preparing the order placement information based on the determination, and an order placement unit 8 for placing an order to the sales agent determined based on the order placement information.
