PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occupied area of a connector to contribute to the miniaturization of various electronic apparatuses. SOLUTION: The types of inserted cards can be recognized by determining the combinations of on and off of a plurality of switches SW1 and SW2 arranged according to the outer shapes of the cards.
