PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a solid polymer type fuel cell in which flooding cannot occur easily in a cathode even if it is run, in large current, and which has high output, and has a stable performance even if its is used for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A cathode 5 is formed by arranging a catalyst layer 1, a catalyst layer 2, and a gas diffusion layer 4 in this order from a side which touches a polymer electrolyte membrane PEM. The catalyst layer 1 and the catalyst layer 2 are formed with a coating liquid including a resin made into an acid type, and a catalyst, after hydrolyzing a fluorine-included polymer having -SO2F group, respectively. In the catalyst layer 1 and the catalyst layer 2, ones who have different melting extrusion temperature are used as the above fluorine- included polymer having -SO2F group. This catalyst layer 1 has 10 to 200 deg.C higher melting extrusion temperature than the catalyst layer 2. |
