<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a panel switch that can reduce or prevent incorrect detection caused by disturbing lights. SOLUTION: The panel switch 10 comprises a stop portion 50 which is formed with a side wait 54 having an opening 56 and a side wall 58 having an opening 60, and the beam light L1 passes through the openings 56, 60 and reaches the light accepting element 44. The disturbing lights LS, which have inclined optic axes against the optic axis of the beam light L1, do not either reach the light accepting element 44 by being blocked by the side wall 54, or even if passed through the opening of the side wall 54, can not pass through the opening 60 as the optic axes are inclined and are reflected in the direction different from the direction of the light accepting element 44 after going straight through the space portion 64. Thereby the incorrect detection of the light accepting element 44 caused by accepting the disturbing lights LS is reduced or prevented.</p> |
