PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device in which an inner heat is surely transferred to a protecting element and in which the safety can be improved without changing the maximum thickness in the electrochemical device in which a flexible film added with the protecting element is used for a sheath bag. SOLUTION: This electrochemical device has the sheath bag 2, an electrochemical element 3 enclosed in this sheath bag 2 and a heat sensitive protecting element 5 to protect the electrochemical element 3, and this has a constitution where the heat sensitive protecting element 5 is arranged at a position where the electrochemical element 3 is not substantially enclosed in the sheath bag 2. |
