PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key top member for a push button switch and a manufacturing method capable of producing the same having a form where a deep drawing is performed on a printed resin sheet, at a low price, easily, and industrially, without an expensive die for injection molding and an advanced manufacturing technique. SOLUTION: In the key top member 1, a resinous molding having a shape and a size approximately equal to an outer shape of the key top for a push button switch 4 becomes a core material 3, the whole outer surface except a bottom face of the core 3 is coated with the resin seat 2 which a character, a sign, and a pattern or the like are printed on, and the resin sheet 2 and the core 3 are adherently brought together with a glue 6. Further, in the manufacturing method, there is molded the resin sheet 2 using pressure forming and/or vacuum forming or compression molding. After forming predetermined number of convex parts 5 in conformity with the outer shape of the key top 4 in the resin sheet 2, in the inside of the convex parts 5, there is adherently fixed, with a glue 6, the core 3 molded separately by the injection molding and having the shape and the size approximately equal to respective convex parts 5.
