PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus and method for robot, which can reduce unnecessary anticipatory analysis of robot language program and can suitably control movements of robot even if such anticipatory analysis is reduced. SOLUTION: Compiler 3, when it converts a robot language program into intermediate codes, adds auxiliary information to the intermediate codes to generate control instructions in accordance with the contents of the robot language program. Analyzer 6 analyzes the intermediate codes with additive auxiliary information successively and generates control instructions for robot.
