PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which improves processing performance by suppressing a network load and the load on a resources on a proxy-agent side, when management information that the proxy agent supports is synchronized with management information that an agent under its control manages. SOLUTION: A monitored parent device, equipped with a proxy agent which sends management information received from a manager of a monitor device to another managed object by converting the protocol and a child monitor device under the control of the monitored device are equipped with a monitored device management table representing whether or not management information is set to a managing object as bit information; and the information of the monitored device management table that the monitored master device holds and which corresponds to the monitored slave device is compressed and sent from the monitored parent device to the monitored slave device, which decodes and compares the compressed table with information of a table of its device and informs are monitored master device of management information to an unset management object, so that the monitored master device sends management information.
