PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery having both excellent low-temperature characteristics and high energy density. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte battery is formed of, at least, a positive electrode mainly composed of the positive electrode active material, a negative electrode mainly composed of the negative electrode active material, and the nonaqueous electrolyte included in the non-aqueous solvent. In this non-aqueous electrolyte battery, the non-aqueous electrolyte includes γ- butyrolactone, phenylene carbonate or the derivative thereof. |
