PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution for drying electrolytic capacitor, having a stable performance by solving the problem that the deterioration particularly of cathode foil is accelerated in a high-temperature environment and failures occur in valve actuation, etc., and to provide an electrolytic capacitor which uses the solution. SOLUTION: An electrolytic capacitor, the characteristics of which are stabilized over a long time even under a high-temperature condition can be obtained, when the electrolytic solution is prepared by adding a polyalkyleneglycol derivative, containing two or more nitrogen atoms in its molecule to an electrolytic solution for driving electrolytic capacitor containing an organic solvent, and one or more kinds selected from among inorganic acids, organic acids, and their salts as a solute.
