PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image shift at the seam of an image when the image of a range is picked up while dividing into a plurality of sections and then the sections are synthesized into one image. SOLUTION: Video signal of a first image from a camera 1 is converted digitally at an A/D converting section 2, stored in a memory section 3, and displayed at a display section 4. The part of a second image being lapped over the first image is set at a setting section 5, cut off from the first image at an image processing section 7 and displayed at the display section. Subsequently, the camera angle is determined such that the displayed image overlaps the same part of the second image and the second image is picked up, converted digitally and stored in the memory section. First and second images are read out from the memory section through a control section 8 and synthesized into one image. |
