PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible both improvement in the operation efficiency of a portable information terminal and improvement in security, concerning a user interface based on a fingerprint for the portable information terminal. SOLUTION: A fingerprint reader 101 reads the fingerprint information on the finger of a user, a fingerprint information storage part 102 previously stores the fingerprint information read at the time of setting, and a fingerprint information collating part 103 collates fingerprint information read later with the fingerprint information held in the fingerprint information storage part and converts that information to command information. |
